“I think this is the scientific way to go about it. You know, you gotta read evidence, you draw new conclusions, you update your beliefs if and when necessary.”

Cristina A. Moraru of Worthful Woman is a science communicator and podcaster focused on the intersection of science and spirituality. Christina and Liz found one another through Instagram because both were fascinated by the often overlooked scientific evidence and research of an afterlife and paranormal occurrences. The two read in depth about the same scientists from Dr. Julie Beischel who studies psychic mediums to Rupert Sheldrake who studies inexplicable levels of knowing and intuition. Cristina recently launched her podcast, Worthful Woman where she has already had on many guests whose research has influenced Liz such as Craig Weiler, author of Psi Wars: TED, Wikipedia and the Battle for the Internet.

While Cristina was raised Christian, she went through multiple world views including atheism and materialism. She no longer identifies and Christian or as atheist. Her ideas are constantly evolving as she gathers more information. When she discovered a book on afterlife evidence she became very curious and delved in. She believes you always need to keep an open-mind, be willing to change your mind, and know that science is always changing.
