Trauma and loss of loved ones inspired him look into life after death

Andrew the psychic firefighters happy we are having this conversation about psychic abilities and that today there are platforms where we can speak about topics such as psychic phenomena which has always been considered taboo.

“It's amazing that we have a platform today where we can speak about these kinds of topics that years ago were considered strange or taboo, or, you know, you could talk about them with a few friends. But don't let too many people know about what you're talking about. Because then you'll be really, really weird. And you know, people will think you're a freak. And it's amazing how times have shifted.”

But as he has gotten older and experienced more and more traumatic  events and lost loved ones, the more he has become fascinated with life after death. When he was only five a best friend of his passed away and he didn’t really understand or know how to process this loss and grieve the way an adult would. But after that event, even at such a young age something in his thinking began to change.

“Like, we're here. We're doing all these things we're playing, we're having fun, life is great. And then now, Mikey's gone. Like it just didn't make sense to me.”

Then at 13 another friend of his passed away, so Andrew dealt with a lot of loss at a very young age. He wanted to know why we are here.

And what happens when we die.

Death became more of a reality.

Send me a sign when you pass that shows there is life after death.

He began to really cherish moments with his grandmother, knowing she would not be here forever. He could talk about anything with her. One time they were watching Unsolved Mysteries when an episode came on about life after death.

He turned to his grandma and said, “Whenever you pass away, can you promise me that you will come through. But I don't want to see, you know, a butterfly or a feather or a coin on the ground. I really need to know that it's you.” And she promised.

UFO’s and inexplicable phenomena

A few years later, Andrew joined the coast guard. He was out on boat in the middle of nowhere and he was the nigh-watchman, when he saw these mysterious silver objects floating in the sky. He wakes up other members of the crew and while the captain does not register them on his radar, they all see these unidentifiable objects when they look up at the sky. All of them are fascinated and baffled as they watch the behavior of these objects which eventually just disappear.

“And I just remember saying, Wow, well, you know, if a human being was in that, that objects, they would have exploded. Because if if something you know took off that fast inside of a craft, your your insides would turn to jelly. So there couldn't be something in there. So the next day, nobody spoke about it. Nobody said anything.”

UFO Researcher Dr. Steven Greer

(Dr. Steven Greer founded the Center for the Study of Extraterrestrial Intelligence and the Disclosure Project.)

He thought this was an isolated incident that really made no sense until he discovered Dr. Steven Greer who knew ex military guys who also had what they call close encounters with extraterrestrials, ghosts, spirits, orbs, all sorts of weird things.

Andrew had to meet Dr. Steven Greer! He also had a thought that somehow these UFO’s and this odd phenomena tied in with life after death in some way. Dr. Steven Greer suggested Andrew meditate and see what happens. When he did and he began to see all sports of orbs - balls of light in the sky.

Psychic medium readings and signs from his grandmother on the other side

In his early 30’s Andrew’s grandmother passes away. He and his mom go to a restaurant that all of them (including his grandmother) loved going to. A random man comes up to them, tells them that a family member of theirs recently died, and he proceeds to give information about Andrew’s grandmother, and information about Andrew himself. This man turns out to be a psychic medium called Robert Hansen.

Some of it makes sense but not all, until Andrew gets home and discovers a photo. Then he realizes this information is more accurate than he even thought. Andrew is stunned. He was always skeptical and he tries to evaluate all that this psychic medium Robert Hansen said to him skeptically, but there is no way he could have known this information. Including information Andrew himself had not even known until he looked at photos and an old painting.

Developing psychic medium abilities

A year later Andrew was still unable to stop thinking about this reading and decided to track down Robert Hansen. He was in a really bad place. He had just gone through a divorce, his home in Long Island was under water and he had lost everything. He thought maybe seeing a psychic medium would help too.

He books a reading with Robert Hansen (who has no idea who Andrew is.) He gives Andrew a really accurate reading, but Andrew is a little confused why he brings up a firefighter who had passed away that Andrew really did not know very well. Although Andrew was impressed because he had not told Robert Hansen that he was a firefighter himself, and Robert Hansen knew how the man died, falling off his firetruck.

Robert also tells Andrew that he himself has abilities and that Andrew should come take classes with him. Of course that sounds like a very obvious ploy to make money, but Andrew learns the first class is free then afterwards the classes are weekly and only $20 for three hours. A reading with Robert Hansen is $500.

The part that still made no sense was the firefighter who died who Andrew did’t know. Robert Hansen had insisted there was a reason he came in. That it must be for someone Andrew knew. Andrew checked with all of his friends and no one knew this man. \

Then Andrew went on a first date and although he felt uncomfortable at first, he decided to share he had just had a psychic medium reading. Instead of being freaked out the woman was fascinated and wanted the details. When Andrew told her he was astounded. The firefighter who had passed away had come in for her. This was something she had been desperately waiting for.

Survival of consciousness is real.

“And I said, Well, the reason that I had the reading and that at the end was to obviously tell the you that the survival of his consciousness is real. She goes, Yeah, I've been struggling. I've been really struggling wondering, Where is He? Is he okay?”

Proof of an afterlife (not faith)

This girl had been needing this evidence or proof that her friend was okay. Having grown up in a religious culture she had asked the priest if her friend was okay, but the Bible had not helped her. She had not felt okay until this date. Andrew related. After the devastating loss of his grandmother, he wanted proof she survived. He talked to a priest who assured him his grandmother was in heaven.

“ Now I said, Okay. How do you know that? He goes, Well, it says in the Bible. I go, No, no, I've read the Bible plenty of times. And I know it says in there I go, but how do you really know that my grandmother is in heaven, and happy and at peace with my grandfather, like, What's the proof?  And he goes, I don't have any just faith base. I said, that's not enough for me.“

So when Andrew went to Robert Hansen, he got actual evidence. No faith or belief was needed. “So the mere fact that Robert Hansen was saying things to me, and they were accurate, I said, ‘Case Closed!’”

Giving psychic medium readings

The first day Andrew trained with Robert Hansen, he began to read random strangers he had never met and he knew things! He would look at them and see a black and white movie or old slide show playing right above them. That is how he got the information. “And I would say to people, for example, I see a car driving down the block, and it's got driving back in reverse, and someone shoots out of the back window.” The information he got was specific, and people verified that yes, he was correct. But he was still skeptical.

“And then I had that moment, that moment finally came when I knew 100% in my heart that I was really doing this. Because I fought it at first. I said now, now these people are lying to me, they want to make me think that that I have this, but I don’t.”

But when he gets the information he sees everything (which is called clairvoyant). He cannot really hear so he has a hard time getting names. It is not like talking clearly to a person, the sounds are garbled.

Liz asks, but can’t people just write their names in the movie screen you see? But they can’t. He wishes it was that perfect. But he shares some remarkable and highly accurate information he got, including for a woman whose friend’s daughter had been missing.

Psychics finding missing people

If it worked that well, Andrew explains, he would be spending his time working with the FBI and find missing people, not giving readings. He would find murderers and missing kids. But for some reason, this is almost impossible. Robert Hansen worked with the FEDs for about 10 years. But Andrew is going to try. It is what he ultimately would want to do with his abilities.

He shares further details of the amazing reading he gave for a woman’s best friends young daughter who had died. She had been missing and tragically in the end was discovered dead.

“And then another picture comes up of this girl, the girl that died. She's wearing a pink shirt, and it's got white hearts on it. Like I saw that clear. So I knew at that point I said, Okay, I have this because there's no way I could know that no way I could know this… Everything I saw was spot on. And there's no way I could have known this.”

After this experience he knew he had to really pursue giving psychic medium readings while still working as a firefighter. While Robert Hansen said it can’t be done, Andrew knows other psychic mediums that are doing it. There is a dog walker he knows, who in his spare time secretly works with law enforcement as a psychic medium to find missing people. Another medium Nancy Webb has said she's done it for over 40 years with the FBI and other agencies. Of Course, the police and FBI cannot be open about this. If word got out about a specific case, that could make a lot of evidence inadmissible in court.

“I was told to basically apply what I apply just like doing a psychic reading, apply the same principles and, and write out exactly what I'm seeing pick a missing person anywhere in the world anywhere just someone that you don't know you know, just find one somewhere and, and write down what you're seeing exactly and then see if and when the person's found. See if it was exactly what you saw. I have a friend who's a dog walker in Brooklyn, who finds missing people with the state police and he's done it a bunch of times. He's fucking incredible. I don't think he come on the show. You're never expected. He's a dog walker, guys, great guy. He's dog walker. And he's incredible. He's sensational what he does, and he's found people missing people.”

Respect for privacy during psychic medium readings

He practiced on anyone he knew. Friends, family, and ideally as much as he could, people he didn’t know.

When he has done group readings, or other times he has been asked to do readings on a podcast, he had to warn people that private information comes up during psychic medium readings and some people are uncomfortable with that.

He was once on a podcast and they asked him if he would mind giving live readings during the last 40 minutes. The host said they didn’t mind whatever came up. But Andrew wanted to make sure he really was okay, so when Andrew clarified that he was getting his girlfriend had just had an abortion (something that obviously is nothing to be ashamed of, yet is still personal), the host realized he was not comfortable being read publicly.

Another time Andrew was reading a group of people and he brought in someone’s cousin Michael who had sadly taken his own life. The person Andrew was getting this information for rep saying no, but Andrew felt it was true. Afterwards, this person came up to Andrew in private and said actually this was true but he didn’t want to claim it in front of the group. But when someone does that it makes the medium look bad, and for people who might be skeptical and in grief it could look like none of this is true and that there is no afterlife.

So people have to be ready to get a medium reading. Not everyone is ready and it is not for everyone.

Synchronicities

Andrew then found out the New York Post had found out about hims, and they thought a story on a firefighter who was into UFO’s and giving psychic readings would make a good story. They called him and let him know they were printing the story even if he was not comfortable. When he looked up the writer he found out she had mainly written hit pieces own politicians and firefighters. He was not happy about it and knew he had to tell New York City Fire Department that he had seen UFO’s and was a psychic medium. He was prepared for ridicule, but they were supportive. They said he wasn’t hurting anyone, or doing anything evil and it sounded like he was helping people.

Although Andrew did not want the article to run, and the chief of his fire department asked them not to run it out of respect for Andrew, they would not respect their wished, but the piece turned out to be a blessing. He was in Australia at the time and was invited to speak at a conference. He ended up meeting his wife in Australia and getting a new job at a funeral home as an embalmer. When COVID hit was when he found out his then girlfriend was pregnant, and he decided to stay in Australia and start a family and life there. He continued doing psychic readings at the same time.

Working now as an embalmer and being so close to the dead helped his comfort with death and improved his psychic medium abilities. The with COVID causing so much devastation, requests for psychic medium readings from him exploded. He got a request by a literary agency to write a book and a production company contacted him about developing a TV series.

“So I'm really excited. I had the most amazing people The right, the right people will appear at the right time in your life. And that's just how it happened. I didn't ask. I didn't go looking to do thisThese things just happened. I didn't want to write a book. I didn't want the TV series, nothing like that. The right people just appeared to me and helped me. And I am a big believer in synchronicity, and I just kept following the next synchronicity after the next.”

He then met Mary Rodwell, a woman who works with UFO experiences.

“And she said, Andrew, something is going on with your DNA. She said, you've activated parts of your DNA. i She was I believe you're doing that. She goes, You need to find a scientist that studies this kind of thing. Now, it's not easy to find. I can't walk into a geneticist or an immunologist office in New York City as a firefighter and say, Hey, Doc, I contact UFOs and dead people. Can you look at my DNA”

Then when he was being interviewed by someone called Michael Harrell, he began turning blue. Not his actual skin, but the lighting on the screen around him. It seemed as if he was activating some inexplicable thing. He then found Dr. Gary Nolan at Stanford Research Institute. He has his own laboratory Nolan laboratories. He sent this video of himself turning blue and Dr. Gary Nolan, who was very credible and brilliant had gotten a few million dollar grant from the Department of Defense to do cancer research - so he was not a flake. Dr. Nolan was fascinated by the video of Andrew “turning blue.” He explained that in our brain we have another brain we call it the antenna, which some people can turn on. Near death experiencers often activate it. Some people activate it through UFO contact or meditative states, but no one is really sure how it happens. And they are studying it further by putting people in MRI machines and they can see parts of the brains that are activating when this happens.

Andrew continued to mediate and began to see more UFO’s. He asked to see them further. “I asked them, I said, How can I see you? Or how can someone see you. And they said, we are only for the people, meaning the regular people, if the people have the eyes to see them. So it's an expression, we're here, but we're only for the people that have the eyes to see them. You need the correct vision to see us meaning they're here all the time. If you keep meditating, your consciousness will expand and your own eyes will then can see them. So it has nothing to do with their eye. It's just an expression, meaning you meditate more and more and more, and you will be able to see them. That's how you can see them. It's not gonna happen instantly, or overnight. But eventually, you will be able to see them you will have the eyes to see them.

I've seen them start out like that, with a balls of light in the sky. I've seen them literally float down. Like how you would see a balloon floating down to the ground, changing shape into what looks like a human outline, a humanoid outline, like a person literally like that. That's what you would identify. And then even into like a black disc.”
